A barrel stave and wooden pin factory once operated here and in later years the home was used to' house migrant apple pickers. The house has been lovingly and professionally restored by the Vawters who came here from Old Town Alexandria.
Among the fine antiques to be seen at Robin Hill are a pine hutch (circa 1840), long wood box made in Luray in 1820; an unusual tavern table; a pine comer cupboard, spinning wheel and hand-painted vases and a doll collection.
