If an increase of four cents per gallon is authorized, the highway department predicts that Rappahannock will get secondary road funds totalling $415,265 in 1980-81; $365,357 in 1981-82; $367,742 in 1982-83 and $334,052 in 1983-84.
With the additional four cents per gallon tax, Rappahannock should receive an estimated 30 per cent less secondary road money, compared to funding in 197980. Without the four cent jump, according to the highway department’s figures, the county will get 58 per cent 1ms. V
