Of all things, a bill was introduced allowing coal trucks to obtain a permit to haul overweight loads. Of coursj, we will not see any in our area but with all the hassle about overweight trucks tearing up roads, how could a thing like this come to pass?
A proposed House bill will tighten VASAP so that two convictions of driving under the influence will result in a loss of permit. I’ll bet this house bill will not pass the Courts of Justice Committee.
