Miss Brenda Elizabeth Atkins of Sperryville became the bride of Michael Francis Sacco of Culpeper in an afternoon ceremony January 19. 1980. The Rev. Kirby Shcnk performed the ceremony at the home of the bridegroom.
The bride is the daughter of Lyle Atkins of Sperryville and the late Mrs. Atkins. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sacco of Syracuse. New York, are the bridegroom's parents.
Mr. Atkins gave his daughter in marriage. She wore a formal gown of white satin designed with a high neckline and long sleeves trimmed in lace. The full skirt was edged in a deep flounce of matching lace, and her full length veil of illusion was edged in lace. She carried a bouquet of white carnations, daisies and babies breath.
Mrs. Edward Gore, the bride’s sister, was matron of honor. Her floor length gow n was navy blue and she wore a white hat. Her flowers were blue and white daisies and carnations.
Bridesmaids were Misses Betty and Becky Atkins, sisters of the bride, who wore formal gowns of baby blue and had blue carnations in their hair. They carried white and blue daisies and carnations.
