Cook-Off
A check for SI00 and a crack at the national competition is awaiting the Virginian who enters the winning recipe in the second annual Virginia Beef CookOff.
The state contest is a preliminary to the National Beef Cook-Off to be held in Phoenix. Ariz., September 34 where state winners will compete for a share of $3,500 in prizes. Travel and lodging expenses will be reimbursed.
Contestants must be 18 years or older. Any state or national CowBelle member or professional home economist is not eligible to compete.
The 1980 Virginia Beef Cook-Off is sponsored by the Virginia CowBelles, Inc., the women’s auxiliary of the Virginia Beef Cattle Association. Official entry forms, which must accompany all entries, are available by writing: 1980 Virginia Beef Cook-Off,
