Prince
Mrs. Rhoda Virginia Prince, 59, of Front Royal died Monday, February 4, 1980, in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, today, at 11 a.m. in the Salvation Army Chapel in Front Royal, conducted by Lt. Todd Hawks. Interment will be at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Front Royal.
Mrs. Prince was born in Rappahannock County on November 7, 1920, a daughter of the late Oddie Nicholson and Lizzie Corbin Nicholson. She was the widow of Sammy David Prince and a member of the Salvation Army.
She is survived by five sons, Leroy Prince, Charles Prince, Sammy Curtis Prince, Gene Alan Prince and Melvin F. Prince, all of Front Royal; three daughters, Fannie Smoot of Sperryville, Joan Vorous of Berryville and Linda Williams of Front Royal; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Also surviving are two brothers, James O. Nicholson and Woodrow Nicholson, both of Washington, and five sisters, Florine Nicholson of Front Royal, Katherine Dodson of Gore, Dorothy Lilly of Washington and Barbara Riggleman and Thelma Hensley, both of Martinsburg, W. Va.
