Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a formal white gown designed with long cuffed sleeves and a scooped neckline. Her fingertip veil was edged with lace and she carried a nosegay of roses.
Miss Liz Donney of Pennsylvania was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Misses Cindy Kopjanski of Roanoke, Mary Cahill of New York and Jean Horan of Newport News.
Stephanie Allman of Roanoke was flower girl and ringbearer was Torsten Steinfatt, brother of the bride.
Jay Miller of Washington served as best man and ushers were C. G. Thornhill and Mike Carpenter of Richmond and Robert Leonard of Lebanon.
A reception followed at the home of the bride’s parents. Miss Melanie Thornhill, sister of the bridegroom, was in charge of the guest book and Mrs. Frances Lenz was mistress of ceremonies.
After a wedding trip to Austria, the couple will reside in Woodville.
