Piedmont
Nursing Class
Applications are currently being accepted for the Piedmont Technical Education Center nursing class which is scheduled to begin in late August, 1980. Since several steps are involved in the acceptance procedure, it is recommended that interested persons begin the process immediately.
Adults of any age as well as high school juniors or seniors may apply for the program. The applications and information may be received by contacting Piedmont Technical Education. Center or by seeing a high-school guidance counselor.
In addition, applicants will be given a test for basic skills and required to have an interview with members of the nursing staff. A dental examination report must also be filed with the school. All of these steps must be completed by March 15.
There is no tuition charge to residents of Orange, Madison, Culpeper or Rappahannock Counties. However, the cost for books, uniforms, and other expenses is approximately $320.00.
