Miss Mimi Hyde served as her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Susan Reeves of Charlottesville and Miss Suz Hardesty of Los Angeles, Calif.
William Sharp was his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Edward Sharp, brother of the bridegroom, and Charles Hyde, brother of the bride.
A reception dinner, was held at the Fort Monroe Officers Club.
The couple will reside in Flint Hill. A wedding trip to Bermuda is planned in June.
Benefit Card Party
The Rappahannock Woman’s Club is sponsoring a Scholarship Card and Game Party Friday, May 9 at the Flint Hill fire hall beginning at 7:30 p.m. Bring your own cards or games. Proceeds will benefit a RCHS Senior for a scholarship fo a vocational school or further training.
Refreshments will be served. Admission is $2 per person.
