J. Newbill Miller, the incumbent, filed as a candidate for mayor but did not certify with the State Board of Elections in Richmond so his name won’t appear on the ballot. Instead, the ballot will carry a box for marking a choice and the notation “For Mayor, vote for not more than one” with a blank space for writing in a name.
Incumbent treasurer Bradford Fisher is running unopposed after serving in the position for two years.
