Mrs. Margaret C. Peck of Herndon was a Thursday afternoon caller of Miss Annie Miller Almond. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schaefer of Sperryville were Sunday visitors.

Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Updike Sr. were Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Updike Jr., Brian and Kellie of Culpeper.

Mrs. Ethel Ramey of Slate Mills spent Friday with Mrs. Gilbert Updike.

Mrs. Carol Miller and Mrs. Molly Hobson attended Alumna Day at St. Margaret’s School in Tappahannock Saturday.

Saturday evening dinner guests of Miss Mary Miller Wood were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Riddleberger of Front Royal, Mrs. Mallory Dahn and Miss Jane Riddleberger. both of Alexandria and Mrs. L. J. Turner. Sunday dinner guests were Mrs. Marjorie Ruskin and Mrs. Anna Fincham, both of Sperryville.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bridges entertained Sunday evening with a buffet supper for approximately 35 people from Manassas, Alexandria and here.

Mrs. Leonard Campbell returned home Sunday after spending several days with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Bailey in Manassas.

Mr. and Mrs. I. E. Forward of Three Rivers, Mich, are spending this week with his mother, Mrs. E. E. Forward.

Weekend houseguests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Frazier were Mr. and Mrs. Leon Howell of Richmond.

Mr. and Mrs. Ennis Jenkins Jr. and family were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Foster and children.

Mr. and Mrs. John Norman and Leslie were recent dinner guests of Mr. artd Mrs. L. V. MerriU in celebration of Mrs. Norman’s birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill returned home Saturday after spending several days in DeBary, Fla. and on Monday were in Nokesville and accompanied Mrs. Merrill’s sister. Miss Elizabeth Reading, home with them to spend a few weeks.

Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Wenner of Staunton were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Baines, Lee and Bobby. The Baines were supper guests of Mrs. Sarah Latham in Amissville.
