There were no "nays” and no abstentions in the decision on an audit report deadline handed down at the Rappahannock school board’s November 11 meeting. But with one exception, the "ayes”—if they were voiced at all—were delivered with fetch lade of enthusiasm that the vote was inaudible just a few feet away. In the minute book, however, it went down as unanimous.
"Feet are being dragged here for whatever the reason,” charged Robert Eastham after superintendent William Bloomer reported that the audit report requested by the board wasn’t ready for last Tuesday’s meeting.
