Linear Trail
System Planned
Old Dominion, Inc., organizer of the annual 100mile endurance ride, is planning to create and maintain a linear trail system from the Front Royal area for both riders and walkers, using the Shenandoah National Park’s existing yellow slash trail system, George Washington National Forest and surrounding counties.
Old Dominion membi s hope to work with the Virginia Trails Association, 4-H groups, the Virginia Horse Council, Appalachian Trail Club and other interested groups.
