The &*h grade team is practicing four days each week and has ten games scheduled this year. The first scrimmage is set for December 2 at William Monroe.
The first meeting of the KVG (Keep Virginia Green) was held November 13 at which time Mr. Clifton Jenkins. Chief Forest Warden, and Mr. Lyt Wood, County Forester, were speakers. The students enjoyed the presentation and are looking forward to being instructed on methods of assisting fire companies in the event of a major fire.
The Junior Class candy sale was a great success with approximately $800 recognized from their efforts. The class would like to express appreciation to . all the residents who contributed to the candy sales. *
