TIGHT DEFENSE by the Junior Panthers in last Friday’s Skyline District championship almost brought home the first place trophy for Bob Edmondson's junior varsity team. But with Rappahannock only shooting 36 per cent from the floor, the William Monroe Dragons were the victors, 29-22. Pops Aylor and Clarence Pendleton were high scorers with eight points apiece while Eric Bear lead in rebounds with ten. The second place finish in the Skyline District brought the first jayvee basketball trophy back to the RCHS trophy case.
