Atkins

Odie Oliver Atkins, 72, of Luray died Wednesday, February 18, 1981 at Veterans Administration Center, Martinsburg, W. Va.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday at the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray. Burial was in Washington Masonic Cemetery.

He was bom September 22, 1908 in Rappahannock County and was a son of the late Britton Lee and Mary Jane Pullen Atkins. His wife, the former Mary Ellen Fincham, is deceased.

Mr. Atkins was retired from the Virginia Oak Tannery and was a veteran of World War II.

He is survived by a daughter, Bernice Russell of Winchester; a sister, Maggie Atkins of Luray and four grandchildren.
