appear to be much more palatable, politically, to the taxing authorities than a “$4.40 per hundred” rate under the old discounted system, 1 think we can depend upon it that the taxpayers of this county are intelligent enough to keep their eyes on numbers rather than words. What i$ to say, the bottom line for them will be that number of dollars on the check they have to send in to the county Treasurer to pay their tax bill!
