To the editor:
I feel a need to alert the people in our village of Amissville, that cruelty to animals does exist. It is hard to accept the fact that among us is a trigger happy person who would deliberately put a bullet in a dumb animal and leave it to suffer, should they miss their mark.
On Feb. 18, the beautiful, loving cat belonging to Tiffany Burke, nine-year-old daughter of Vicki Burke Dennis, who lives in my apartment, was found outside her door with its shoulder and leg bones shattered and a 22 bullet lying near her heart. This diagnosis was found after taking “Snickers” to a veterinarian.
