Barn Dance

Scheduled

The Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection has started plans for a Spring Barn Dance to be held at Wakefield School auditorium on Saturday night. April 11 at 8 p.m. The dance will feature the popular Case’s Goggers who called the last barn dance held by the RLEP. The committee to plan the dance is headed by Mitzie Young of Castleton. She promises refreshments, entertainment, door prizes, and a good time for old and young. You don’t have to know how to square dance to participate as the large group of ‘Goggers’ are always on the floor to help out. Besides, getting tangled up in the ‘grand right and left' is part of the fun.

Tickets will be S5 for singles and $8 for couples, and while tickets will be available ahead of time in various stores, they can be bought at the door as well.

Other committee members are: Helen Holschuh. Marjorie Albright, Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Gottleib, Mr. and Mrs. Allan Coombs, Mr. and Mrs. Waldron O’connor, Mr. and Mrs. Nels Parson and Lucille Price.
