The Rappahannock unit of the American Cancer Society will kick-off its annual Cancer Crusade with a coffee at Clifton, the home of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Rodgers, on Saturday, March 21 at 10 a.m.

The coffee will give the community an opportunity to get acquainted with the county’s Cancer Society Board of Directors, the new unit president and the chairman of the crusade. No donations to the Crusade will be accepted or asked for at the coffee.

Cecil St. Clair King, Jr., Virginia State Crusade Chairman, will be guest of honor. King’s professional background includes Naval military service and the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission. His last government service was with the U. S. Price Commission.
