has 15 years production and directing experience, not only in Virginia but in Switzerland, Peru and, the Dominican Republic. “Refugee” is a powerful drama filled with action and intensity, whose theme is adolescence, the process of coming of age, the ironies involved with graduating into the “real" world.

The play has been performed at the Department of State in Washington, D. C., won awards in Charlottesville at the State Theater Competition and has recently invited to the Southeastern Theater Conference.

Showtime is 7:30 p.m., March 15 at the theater on Gay Street. The ticket price (adults S2.00, students $1.00) will also include a screening of Charlie Chaplin’s hilarious short comedy The Vagabond, and the IVi hour program will end with a theater workshop demonstration, an opportunity for the audience to interact with both playwrights and actors. Everyone is invited to this exciting performance.
