Swindler

Roy Albert Swindler, 78, of Sperryville died Friday, February 27, 1981 in Culpeper Memorial Hospital. He was a retired gift store operator, the son of the late Omega B. and Louella Clark Swindler. 4 Survivors include his wife, Anna Belle Estes Swindler; a brother, Russell B. Swindler of Culpeper and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service was conducted by the Rev. Peter Weems on Sunday at the Sperryville Cemetery.

Pallbearers included Jerry R. Jenkins, Fred Schaefer Jr., H. B. Wood, Robert Lewis, Nelson Nethers, Harry Trescott, James Swindler III and Michael Lee Swindler.

Clore Funeral Home in Culpeper handled arrangements.
