Mr. and Mrs. Frank Reynolds, Jesse and Grace were Friday overnight guests of Mrs. Lucy Barlow in Brookneal. Mrs. Barlow returned home with them Saturday to spend the week.
Spending Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. John Updike were their son, Glenn Updike and Lee John of Newsoms. Joining them for dinner were Mr. and Mrs. Randall Updike, Scotty and Justin.
Mrs. J. W. Hawkins, Mrs. Cary Thornhill and Mrs. G. R. Butler, all of Boston were Tuesday guests of J. Stant Weaver. Mr. and Mrs. Nick Peneranda of Fairfax spent from Friday until Sunday with the latter’s father, Mr. Weaver. Fred Butler of Boston was a Saturday visitor.
Mr. and Mrs. Ashton Burke of Warrenton were Wednesday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke.
Mrs. E. M. Jones spent Sunday with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kite, Sara, Frances and Jackie in Luray.
