aon i ** — said H. B. Wood in motioning that the hunting ordinance be adooted. On the ordinance to prohibit hiinting within 100 yards of a roadway, the vote was 4-1 with Gilkey opposed. A second motion from Wood to ask Senator Nathan Miller and Delegate Raymond “Andy” Guest to work for the passage of cased gun enabling legislation carried by majority vote as well, 3-1, with Clarence Baldwin opposed and Charles Estes abstaining.
No action was taken by the board on the proposed ordinance to prohibit dogs running at large.
