Funeral services for Richard Edward Card, 62, of Amissville were conducted Sunday at Amissville Baptist Church by the Rev. Joseph Stirman and Chaplain Reuben Askew. Burial was in the church cemetery with military honors.
Mr. Card died Wednesday, March 31. 1982, at his residence. He was a retired staff sergeant with the U. S. Army and former custodial supervisor at W. T. Woodson High School in Fairfax.
Survivors include his wife. Mrs. Anna V. Card; one stepson, John Woodward of Rixeyville; two stepdaughters, Doris Woodward and Judy Woodward, both of Manassas; four sisters, Mrs. Louise Frick of Chalmette, La., Mrs. Sadie McQuade of Faulkner, Md., Mrs. Lillian Skinner of Duncaster, Md. and Mrs. Bessie Moyer of Sterling. Kans.; two brothers, William Card of Bryantown, Md. and Vernon Card of Tampa, Fla. and five grandchildren.
