Service Set
A community Good Friday Easter Service will be held at Forest Grove Baptist Church, Viewtown on Friday, April 9, at 7:30 p.m.
The Rev. Joseph S. Stirman, pastor of the Amissville Baptist Church will deliver the sermon and the Forest Grove choir will provide special music. Everyone is welcome.
Good Friday Service
The "Seven Last Sayings of Jesus”, will be presented at Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill by seven area ministers on Friday, April 9, at 7:15 p.m. The Rev. James A. Price is the pastor and the public is invited.
Easter Egg Hunt
The Chester Gap Ruritan Gub will hold an Easter egg hunt on Sunday, April 11, at 2 p.m. at the Chester Gap Baptist Church. There will be two age groups: one from toddlers to six years of age and the second from seven to the thirteen. Youngsters in the community are invited to participate.
Revival
Revival services will be held at the Church of God of Prophecy in Sperryville from April 7-11 each evening at 7:30.
Evangelist Sam Paul of Roanoke will be guest speaker. The Rev. Douglas Johns from Luray is the pastor and invites the public to attend.
