chopped broccoli, cooked and drained
Vi cup (2 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon instant minced onion
3/« teaspoon Italian seasoning
Vi teaspoon salt
In medium bowl, beat one egg. Stir in rice and Parmesan cheese until well blended. Spread rice mixture on bottom and up sides of greased 9-inch pie plate to form crust. Sprinkle broccoli and Cheddar cheese into rice shell. Beat together remaining eggs, milk, onion, Italian seasoning and salt until well blended. Pour over broccoli and cheese.
Bake in preheated 375 degrees F. oven until knife inserted near center comes out v..^an, j5 to 45 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Edward J. Carroll, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald F. Carroll of Sperryville, has been promoted in the U. S. Air Force to the rank of airman 1st Gass. Carroll is an aircraft maintenance specialist of Myrtle Beach Air Force Base, S. C., with the 354th Aircraft Generation Squadron. He is a 1979 graduate of Rappahannock County High School, Sperryville.
