Hutchinson $150,000 JOB?—According to officials from the Department of Corrections, Rappahannock’s 24 hour lock-up needs major renovation in order to meet minimum jail standards. Part of the necessary work includes removing the shower heads at the rear of four cell block corridors and replacing them with exits through to the residence section of the building. As an alternative, officials have recommended that the county build a new 12-bed facility.
