The weather was a repeat of what nature handed out at the Piedmont race on March 27. Dahlgren finished second and LeHew fourth over that 5'/i mile, 17-fence distance.
Rain and chilly temperatures were the order of the day as well on March 20 at Warrenton when Dahlgren was the first rider across the line, winning the Frederick H. Prince Perpetual Trophy for the four mile distance.
Six area hunts were represented in the old fashioned point-to-point series.
