DEMOCRATIC PARTY MASS MEETING

The Rappahannock County Democratic Party will hold a mass meeting Monday April 19, 1982 at the Court House in Washington, Va. at 7:30 P.M. to reorganize the Rappahannock County Democratic Committee and to elect delegates to the Democratic State and Seventh Congressional District Conventions. Mandatory reorganization of the County Committee will take place prior to the election of the delegates. The mass meeting will elect four (4) delegates and two (2) alternates to the Democratic State Convention to be held in Roanoke. Virginia, on June 4th and 5th 1982 for the purpose of selecting a candidate for fhe U.S. Senate. All participants in the mass meeting must sign a standardized form stating that they •re voters in Rappahannock County and will not oppose the candidate nominated by Democrats in the ensuing election. Election of delegates will be by written ballot. Alt Rappahannock Democrats who are registered voters are urged to attend.
