Donations Sought
For A VFD A uction
The Amissville Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad is asking for donations to be auctioned off at a raiser scheduled for Saturday. April 24. at the fire hall.
To arrange pickup of donated items, call Paul Poling (937-5205), Levi Atkins (937-4464), or Jack Atkins (937-5282).
The volunteer fire and rescue company will hold its annual open house for the community on May 2 from 25 p.m. In addition, a benefit dinner is planned for May 8.
Anniversary
The Amity Club of Hopewell Baptist Church, Sperryville will celebrate its 14th anniversary on Sunday, April 18 at 3 p.m.
The Rev. Sidney Yancey of Washington, D. C. will be guest speaker. Everyone is welcome.
