PERSONALS
In memory of the following relatives who passed away in April. Melinda Wilson Baldwin, died 9 April 1901, aged 106; Lena Baldwin Beahm, died 3 April 1970, aged 44; Thomas William Baldwin, died 13 April 1937, aged 80, Oscar Edward Baldwin, died 26 April 1960, aged 57; Mary Jane Atkins, died 1 April 1982, aged 48; Romie Branson Pullen, died 6 April 1960, aged 70; and Minnie Atkins Pullen, died 22 April 1929, aged 36. These were my great greatgreat great step grand mother, aunt, great greatgreat-uncle, grandfather, cousin, great grandfather, and great-grandmother, granamotner. Sweetly slumbering 'neath the sod. Blessed loved ones called home by God. With eternal hope in their breasts, They closed their eyes and took their rests. Year, afore the dark, cold hand of death. While able men who e'er drew breath, They captured the hearts of all their kin, ney, the hearts of all the countless men. Oh, beneath the sod in divers places Rest the bones of sires and sages, Nobje souls who quest did swiftly end. But leaving an inheritance to later men. Bequest not in form of a worldly estate. 'Twas one that only memory can savour. Thus they conquered o'er their fate. In which they neither faultered or Quavered. And as the cold grim reaper made his rounds. These loved ones, unfettered from their earthly bounds. E'er with calm and sure retreat. Slept, and gave up the ghost for Jesus to meet.
