Duo-Pianists
To Perform
The Community Concert Association’s third and final presentation of the 1981-82 series will be the duopianists, Veri and Jamanis, on Friday, April 10, in the Culpeper High School Auditorium.
Frances Veri and Michael Jamanis met while they were students at the Julliard School of Music and have been a husband-wife piano duo since 1964. As accomplished pianists, they are renowned for the diversity of their programs, from Bach and Rachmaninoff1 to Gershwin and Scott Joplin. Of them it is said, “Few duopiano teams performing today possess the vitality ..nd exuberance that Frances Veri and Michael Jamanis bring to the concert stage. Whether in concert, with orchestra, on recordings or television, their impeccable musicality and sense of ensemble are abundantly evident.” New subscribers to the 1982-83 series may attend this concert with tickets at S2.00 for adults and $1.00 for students.
