The “fast four" did it again in the 880 relay, winning in 1:53.3 and finishing about 100 yards ahead of the Brentsville girls. Porter, Gheen, Kim Williams and Kathryn Davis then repeated their performance in the 440 relay with a time of 53.9 seconds, two-tenths of a second off the school record. “They should be able to get that record in the next couple of meets,” reported coach Ann Spieker.
