Chairman ol the Republican Party ot Rappahannock County, do hereby issue a call for a mass meeting ot all members ot the Republican Party of Rappahannock County to be held at the Court House. Washington. Virginia, on Friday. April 23. 1982 at 8 00 pm The purposes of the meeting are 1 The election of four- (4) delegates and four (4) alternates to represent Rappahannock County at the State Convention of the Republican Party of Virginia, to be held at the Richmond Coliseum. Richmond. Virginia, starting at Twelve O'Clock p m local time, on Friday. June 4. 1982. for the purpose of nominating a Republican candidate for office of United States Senator. 2 The election of four (4) delegates and four (4) alternates to represent Rappahannock County at the District Convention of the Seventh District Republican Committee to be held at Stafford High School (South). Stafford County. Virginia, on Saturday May 8. 1982. for the purpose of nominating a candidate for the United States Congress 3 The election of a chairman and members of the Rappahannock County Republican Committee. 4 For the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the Mass Meeting

There will be a registration fee ot $1 00 charged at the mass meeting of the Republican Party of Rappahannock County

All persons interested in being nominated as Delegates or Alternates to the Seventh Congressional District and the Virginia State Convention must file their intent with the Unit Chairman prior to April 23, 1982

All legal and qualified voters of Rappahannock County, regardless of race, religion, color, national origin, or sex under the Commonwealth of Virginia, who are in accord with the principles of the Republican Party and who express in open meeting, if requested, their intent to support all of its nominees for public office in the ensuing election, may participate as members ot the Republican Party of Virginia in this mass meeting
