stressed as the qualification to hold public office. May I warn the board of supervisors and the voters of Rappahannock County that college degrees are not the only factors one needs to serve the public interest. There are the characteristics of the individual: to be
honest, and fair, and just, and to always give consideration to their constituencies which in the case of Rappahannock are comprised mostly of poor people. Unfortunately, there are many people with college degrees who lack the characteristics of a good public servant However, I have faith that the majority of the members of the schoolboard will make their decisions with a clear Christian conscience, and since such vague allegations have been presented against Mr. Wingfield, 1 am sure he will be reinstated as principal of Rappahannock High.
