Oscar Garrison Amissville Resident Oscar Franklin Garrison, 94, of Amissville died Sunday, November 14, 1982, in Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton. Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday at Royston Funeral Home in Marshall by the Rev. John Harris. Burial was in Marshall Cemetery. Born in Albemarle County, December 11, 1887, he was the son of the late Theothlier and Martha Dunn Garrison. Survivors include two sons, Leroy Garrison of Greely, Colo, and Thomas Garrison of Warrenton; two daughters, Mrs. Irene Moriarty and Mrs. Lillie Mae McGuinn of The Plains; two sisters, Mrs. Vera Austin and Mrs. Hattie Lawhome, both of Staunton; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and two greatgreat-grandchildren.
Mattie Fewell Born In Rector town Mrs. Mattie Christine Fewell, 86, of The Plains died Saturday, November 13, 1982, at Oak Springs Nursing Home, Warrenton. Funeral services were conducted Monday at Royston Funeral Home in Marshall by the Rev. John Willis. Burial was in Marshall Cemetery. Mrs. Fewell was born April 9, 18%, in Rectortown, the daughter of William and Martha Burgess Miller. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Jeffries of The Plains and Mrs. Elizabeth Allison of Amissville; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
