Kathy Wallace of Hickory was her sister’s matron of honor. Donna Daughtery of Jacksonville was bridesmaid. Attendants wore formal gowns, of mauve lulstreglo featuring tulip tops, crystalpleated skirts and matching chiffon capes. They carried orchips.

Tonya Lippard was flower girl.

The bridegroom’s father was best man. Ushers were Rick Hollar and Charles Hollar, both of Hickory, brothers of the bride and James Carroll of Savannah. Ga., brother of the groom.

A reception was held at the Pine Tree Apartments clubhouse in Charlotte after the ceremony.

The bride is a graduate of St. Stephens High School and King’s Business College in Charlotte.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Rappahannock County High School. He is an aircraft mechanic and is employed with the U. S. Air Force at Myrtle Beach Air Force Base.

After a trip to Amelia Island, Fla. the couple will reside in Garden City.
