Christmas
Choral Concert
The Rappahannock Choral Society under the direction of Gloria Harris will present its annual Christmas concert on Sunday. December 19th. at 8 p.m. at the Washington Baptist Church in Washington.
The women's chorus will present Benjamin Britten’s "Ceremony of Carols” with Mary Ann Pompfrey accompanying on harp. The chorus will sing a selection of sacred and secular anthems and conclude with an arrangement of favorite carols. Beverly Clark will accompany on piano. Rosemary Fogg on violin, and Mary Beth Bayne on flute.
The chorus is delighted to announce that its special guests will be the choirs from the Macedonia Church in Flint Hill. They will perform a variety of Christmas gospels.
A most interesting and enjoyable evening is planned for the community. Music lovers are urged to mark their calendars now for December 19th, 8 p.m.
