Gourmet Buffet Dinner
A gourmet buffet dinner will be held at the Castleton fire hall on Friday, December 3, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The menu will consist of country ham, fried chicken, assorted vegetables and casseroles, fried apples, homemade breads, desserts, coffee, tea and fruit juices for the children.
Dinner is $5.50 for adults and $2.50 for children under 12. All proceeds will benefit the ambulance fund of the Castleton Fire Company.
Thanksgiving Service
The Amissville Baptist Church and the Forest Grove Baptist Church in Viewtown are planning a community Thanksgiving service for Wednesday, November 24, at 7:30 p.m. at the Forest Grove Church.
The Rev. Joseph Stirman, pastor of the Amissville Church, will deliver the Thanksgiving message. The Forest Grove choir will present special music. The public is invited to attend.
