On Thursday, December 9, at 8:00 p.m., the Choral Society of Culpeper will present its annual Christmas concert at the Culpeper Baptist Church.
Conductor Lois Shanks, of Warrenton, has chosen songs by Ballou. Rritten, Dickinson, Dirksen, Grams, Holst, Mozart, Pergolesi and Praetorius as well as the featured work, a J. S. Bach motet ‘‘Jesu, Priceless Treasure”. Several soloists will be spotlighted and the audience will be invited to join in some carols. Accompanists are pianist Carolyn Jones of Orange and organist Dorothy Jones of Culpeper.

Pap Clinic
Scheduled
The Rappahannock unit of the American Cancer Society in conjunction with the local health department will hold a free pap clinic for the detection of uterine and cervical cancer on Wednesday, December 15, beginning at 3 p.m.
Appointments must be scheduled in advance and the clinic is limited to examinations for eight women. For an appointment, call Mrs. Dodson at 675-3305 or the Rappahannock chapter’s publicity chairman, Jule Konick, at 937-4364.
The clinic, which will be held in the health department’s Clopton House offices. is intended for women who do not have a regular doctor.
