When Buck Carter graduated from Rappahannock County High School in 1979, he left with four years of basketball experience and the conviction that he hand’t reached his full potential with the Panthers.

“I just wasn't motivated in high school. I thought I could do better,” he recalled.

He played a little street ball but it wasn’t enough so last year he got a few friends together and they secured the necessary approvals to use the high school gym once a week. Word spread about the new team in town and they were invited to play in Warren County's tournament last year.
