Michele produced and composed music and lyrics for two award-winning children’s records; the second. Ml Casa Ei So Casa (My House is Your House) was placed on the Parents’ Choice List of Best Records for 1981 and featured on Good Morning America. Her first performance Friday from 9:30 to 10:15, “Little People’s Music”, will feature music from both this album and her first album. Are You My Mother? In her second performance, “Songs and Stories” from 10:15 to 11:00 a.m., designed for children in the upper elementary grades, Michele will be joined by poet, actor Mark Speigel, a Harvard graduate and freelance performer who appeared on Channel 5’s Newsday Halloween program and is currently writing a pilot for a cable TV children’s show.
All Rappahannock residents with young children, or simply those young in heart themselves, are invited to attend Michele’s performances, both of which will benefit the Wakefield Yearbook Fund. Admission is $1.50.
