County Tags
Now On Sale
Rappahannock County tags went on sale at the treasurer’s office in Washington on March 1.
Registration card stamped by the commission of revenue indicating that county taxes have been paid must be shown when purchasing a sticker. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30-4:30.
The county stickers must be displayed by May 1. If a sticker is transferee! from one vehicle to another, the old sticker and receipt must be returned to the treasurer’s office before a duplicate can be issued. For more information, call 675-3334.
ASCS Moves
The Rappahannock ASCS office moved this week from its old home on the second floor of the bank building. New quarters are in the rear of the old theater building, formerly the offices of Commonwealth’s Attorney Douglas Baumgardner.
