The superintendent proposes an 11% raise for himself and one for his assistant, bringing their salaries to $36,991 and $32,217 respectively. The total for administration is $119,463. Allotment for last year was $103,167.
The administration category also includes administrative expenses, secretaries, postage, telephone contractual services and office supplies. In this category there is a sizeable jump in one item - census, surveys and reports - from $500 to $2,300 - because of the requirement for a new school census in 1983.
