According to police reports, the students were caught drinking from a soda bottle to which gin had been added in the Monday afternoon incident. Deputy John Godlewski investigated the incident and issued a summons on charges of possession of alcohol on school property against the one adult involved, Wendy Sue Grigsby, who allegedly had the alcohol in her car. Grigsby and the minor students were suspended pending a meeting of the discipline committee of the school board. Superintendent Robert Estabrook said that the board would call a meeting as soon as possible to determine the consequences for the high school students.
