What Kids
Are Reading
Children are in the best position to answer the question, what do children like to read?
That’s the theory behind the International Reading Association’s new booklet, “Children’s Choices for 1982.”
The books included were selected through a survey of 10,000 youngsters in classrooms all over the country who tested books published in 1981. The list annotates each work and groups them according to subject and age level.
For a single free copy of “Children’s Choices,” send a self-addressed number 10 envelope stamped with firstclass postage to International Reading Association, 800 Barsdale Rd., P. O. Box 8139, Newark, Del. 19711.
