Virginia’s Brush Burning Law went into effect on Tuesday, March 1, and will remain in force through May 15.

The Statute makes it unlawful to set fire to any brush, leaves, grass, debris or other flammable material capable of spreading fire, located within 300 feet of any woodland or brushland.
