A Woodville man was seriously injured in a one-car accident late Friday night in Fauquier County, according to State Police.
Douglas Ricketts, 27, was driving a 1978 Chevrolet pickup northbound on Route 17 on the Bealeton overpass at around 1:30 a.m. on February 27 when he apparently lost control of the vehicle, reported Trooper W.G. Raborg. The truck skidded over the the right side of .the road, hit the guard rail on the overpass and flipped, throwing Ricketts out. The truck came to rest on top of him.
