in Viewtown for his entire lifetime. His parents were the late Jesse Joseph and Lucy Routt Barron.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Margaret Herndon Barron of Viewtown; one daughter, Mrs. Camilla B. Latham of Fredericksburg; three grandchildren and one brother, Leonard R. Barron of Viewtown.
A funeral service will be held at Amissville United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 3. The Rev. Steve Parker, Rev. Ray Crockett and the Rev. Paige A. Young will officiate. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens at Jeffersonton.
Pallbearers named are J. Robert Yeaman, Wallace Judd, John Jenkins, James Heflin, Keith Harris, John Lucas, Charles Mills and L.J. Davis.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Fund or Amissville Rescue Squad and Fire Department.
